I can’t wait to tell you the story of how many people came together to bring you home. You are so loved already! I pray that wherever you are today–in your birth mother’s womb, or still with God waiting for the day of your conception–you would be surrounded by our prayers. We can’t wait to hold you in our arms. Sweet dreams, wherever you are.
It has been a little while since we have sent out an update. The reason for that is…there isn’t much new news! On a recent visit with our case worker, we were told that the number of birth families looking for adoptive families has gone down compared to this same time last year. Immediately my mind followed that up with a question: Does that mean the number of abortions are up? I don’t know the answer to that…but I do know that we are called to pray and provide for ALL little ones. Please join us!
You all are continuing to completely humble us with your generosity! The Baby Fund is growing! At this point, we have approximately $6,000.00 left to raise, and that number no longer seems daunting, thanks to your friendship and support. God bless you!
I want to close by sharing a wonderful message that an old and dear friend wrote to our little one. The front of the card reads: “Never Ever Stop Dreaming Big Crazy Dreams.”
Inside was a beyond-sweet message to Aaron and I, and then this message to Baby C:
To the little one –
You have been hoped for, prayed for, cried for, sacrificed for and deeply loved. May you find great satisfaction and overwhelming joy in your life, knowing that God had, and has, the perfect plan for you. He hand-picked your parents just for you, knowing you would be the perfect fit for them. May God bless you all the days of your life with health, protection, assurance of love and grace, discipline, clear direction, a listening ear, favor, Kingdom eyes, and incredible friendships.
Thank you friend. Your prayers and support mean the world. LOVE YOU! Your card will be lovingly tucked into the box of such cards that I will someday pull out to show this little one, when they need an extra reminder that they are valuable. That will be a special day.
